A few new things in Twenty Twelve!

This has been an awesome year and there are still two more months of it!  I want to thank everyone for all of the support and kinds words.  And a big thank you to all of the lovely faces I've photographed this year.  I get all sappy and teary eyed just thinking about it :)

I'm so excited to announce that I will be purchasing the Nikon D700 this year.  It was sort of unexpected and I hadn't planned on being able to until mid year 2012... so this is great news!!  I love the camera I own right now and could not be happier with what it has produced, but it has it's limitations and I get giddy thinking of the possibilities this new camera body will bring for me and for YOU!

A few other things will be changing also!  My packaging, firstly.  Over the Christmas break I will be working on a new look when you receive your disc. I can't wait to share it!  Secondly, as I have mentioned before, I'm still building a strong portfolio and sharpening my skills as a photographer.  As I improve, so does my equipment and the value of my time.  Just like last year there will be a price increase; Sessions will start at $200 in January.  You will still receive around 25-30 edited poses with some additional second edits on a disc.  Mini Sessions will increase slightly to $100.00 for a session in which you will receive around 10 poses on a disc.  I have also decided, starting January, that I will be offering newborn mini sessions in my home in Thatcher (but there will be limitations of the photographs we will take).  I will still hold specials throughout the year with lower prices and package deals!  And you can always buy gift certificates for full sessions before January with the old price locked in!!

I want to thank everyone again for making this year so great.  You guys are awesome and I would not be where I am now with out you.  I can't wait to photograph the rest of the sessions I have scheduled this year!!

Speaking of sessions, I have very few left!  I won't be scheduling anymore family sessions after Thanksgiving weekend until January (I need a little family time).  I'm planning to have mini sessions on Nov. 26h.  It will be a great way to get those holiday photos done and they will be ready within the next week!

Because I can't post without a photo, I leave you with this adorable family I had the pleasure of photographing!!  More from their session soon!
